Just talked to the lady to order Mom's lift chair. Been trying to order this since mid week last week but she has been off and no one else could handle it at the store.



She told me "I was thinking of you this morning, while I was in the shower."



O.o



Twice she told me that.



O.O



"I kept thinking I need to call you, see what your plan was on the chair, if you was going to order. Then I came in to work and they said you had called several times."



Ok... little creepy. lol



Other news- got up early this AM to try and find The Walking Dead online someplace to watch and found it....



:D Rick is back! And here I was ready for him to be killed off, fed up with his moaning. Good to see what turned him toward being a 'farmer' tho. Still- man up, which he did last night.



And the gang is all together but for the baby, which we know is someplace in that camp, and Beth. If they wanted to play that out - Beth should never be found. Have that question of what happen to her, if she was still alive left open.

Conversation with you has always been a hit and miss but of late it is like talking to a brick wall.



I ask you to listen to my words of wisdom, to learn from the mistakes in my life. But instead I watch as you make them over and over.



I speak to you - telling you to take the time to watch a sunrise, to see a rabbit in the morning's dew grass as he run to hide. To stop and look at the tracks of deer in the snow. To enjoy the calls of the birds on the first days of Spring.



To watch the fog lift as the day warms, and the clouds move in with the storms. To go back to the way it was when you enjoyed the days.



To go sit under the stars. To watch a moon rise, and to have a fire and sing to her.



To sit in silence, and wait for the answers that is there. To just take a deep breath in and let the every day things go.



To wake up before dawn and listen to the lack of noise, try and get your own self to be as silent.



To listen to the sounds of the woods, to put your life and all its issues into focus. You worry so much about life you forget to live it, to reach that inner peace and calm. To enjoy that that you have.



To put your feet in the creek, to sit and run your hands over the moss as you connect to the spirits around you. To visit with those who have gone before you, waiting to spend time with you in a silent moment.



You are blessed. Life is more then this and that, more then the worry of the day, the week, the month and years.



It is so much more.



I try to explain this, to tell you, to guild you.



But you do not listen.



You do not hear my conversation.



Instead you shut me out and you struggle.



And I die more and more each day from it.



I am you. I am talking to myself. But you do not hear. I cry for you as you ruin these years of your own life. I wait for you to come back to me.



To find that peace I offer to you.



When you are ready to talk I will be here. In the candle light with a nice glass of wine.

Same with ghost, paranomral events, voices, visions, etc.



Somethings in life you can't 'prove'. And trying to fight with someone on a website, over a computer screen is not getting anything done.



BUT for one thing... it is making members stop posting. And makes those who do believe in god and other items- miss out on talking about it.



"Why should we when all he does is call us liers? Like we are nuts, and just keeps at us. Who the hell wants to be on a site, talk in a forum that is 'attack attack attack' anything you say."



I agree. Somethings can't be proven. Like god. Or ghost, or hauntings. You either have had something happen to you, and those who don't believe are going to make fun, call you out on it.



Fine. "I believe in god" "I don't. But all the best to you and what you belive." That is IT. Nothing else to say. Just have your "I don't think it is real" and move along. Don't even hit the thread to open it if all you are going to do is get snippy, try to argue about something that can't be proven to you. Just MOVE ON.



"But I have a right to call folks out on their crazy shit.." Really? You are on a vampire site. You are on a site that is geared toward the fantasy. Sci fi, Bloody Feather, Power Punks.



Yeah- that is all about 'real life'.



Why don't you go to the science sites? The brainy religion sites? The site you can debate all about the 'real' black and white, right and wrong, put up or shut up threads?



Chill- take a deep breath and stop making so others will not post due to you attacking them.



It gets old man, really old.



Like I said- debate is not going to happen on things when all you scream for is "Prove it" when some subject you just can't.



Like beliving in god.



Or ghost.



Or that your cat is a secret agent for the tuna makers of the world.



Or that your sister is trying to kill you with all the hot sauce in the lunch she made.



Something you just have to go with the flow.. or stay out of the stream if all you are going to do is attack folks. More then one person has left the site due to that reason.



Gets old man.

The people who constantly share their disbelief in a subject is just as bad, or even more so, as a evangelist. In both situations they are cramming things down someones throat. It is one thing to use science as a theory in order to disprove an idea. It is another thing to just constantly repeat yourself with every topic that is thrown around here.



It gets old seeing the same links for a place that doesn't believe either. Its almost like that place has become their religion, and that's what they choose to follow.



I've found that in order to actually disprove something you have to be able to believe and be a skeptic. If you are just fully one or the other, then you are limiting yourself to possibilities of something that could very well be true.



And yeah, it does get old. That's why I don't post anymore. What's the point when you can't even have a civil conversation about things.

I don't believe in most of the supernatural things, but I like listening to (or reading) people's stories. I always think that what really matters is how real it is to them. But I am also willing to be proven wrong about my beliefs.

Watched The Walking Dead just now from last night. I have to say it showed just how good Carol is. And backs up my vote in why Rick was wrong to make her leave the group.



It is all out on the table, she told the truth.



And killed the two girls she promised to keep safe. One to keep from turning into zombie, the other one because she was ...just... unsafe. Unhinged, a few fries short of a happy meal.



It was just a great show. I kind of knew Lizzie was going to do something when she told Carol "I know what I have to do now." I was thinking she would let a zombie bite her like she talked about at the X-crossing and expect the others to 'keep her' as she was Lizzie. Did not see her killing her little sister, to just watch her turn.



And how Carol took the step to keep them safe. Yeap, Carol is right up there with Daryl for me. When you take her history of how her own daughter died- last night show showed how strong Carol has become.



She would so be on my team any day of the zombie war.

I got a bottle of 7 UP the other day at the store. Was thinking of the nice cake made from it Birdy's Aunt made that I got a taste of years ago at a pot luck she held. Ok- the grammar on that sucked.



As normal, right? ;)



While I was looking for info on how to make it, I found one for 7 UP biscuits.



:)



Kitchen is a mess but cake is done, with a lemon glaze. Ready to go down to Mom's home for all of them down there. Got a family friend in, so going to cook something Sunday, did the dessert today.



And 20 biscuits are in three different storage containers. Taking Cat some so she can try them. I am not a great baker, sure she can do better. But they taste different, I kind of like them myself.



The other goes to Mom's. I l left me two for a late brunch Sunday. :) See eggs, bacon, maybe some gravy to go with them.



Now to get dressed and get to Cat's.



Spring is in the air, so nice outside. Be a great day to take some pictures.

7 up biscuits but Mt Dew cake from aunt Joyce and MT Dew apple dumplings by Mom.

Could be Images, sort of the same thing. I don't really do Saint. Patty day tho.



Was it? The 7 UP cake was sooo good too. Used a lemon glaze on it, sisters loved it. I left mine without the glaze as not a big lemon fan. Will have to try Mt. Dew next time. I don't remember the dumplings tho. :/

Spent a few hours at Mom's after doing the shopping. Left then with a Baked Ziti, and a nice blueberry muffin cake deal with a crumble topping of flour, suger, and butter mixture.



That should hold them over till Friday. :)



One sis is going back to her home for a friend's birthday party so see Friday and Saturday being more on hand to help with my Mom's care.



Learned a few things of late, more like reminded of them.



1- I am so not a medical person.

2- My patience has grown by leaps and bounds.

3- Family. That is all you got at the end.

4- Blessings. Count them each and every day.

Is it bad I want to go to bed at 7:30 pm?



Just didn't sleep well last night and so feel the call of a nice soft bed, a book for a few hours to try and relax the mind so I can sleep.



Sleep.... might just take a sleeping pill and read till it kicks in. Thinking of doing that last night but at 3:40AM, and still not able to get any sleep, wasn't the time.



But right now- It is the time.

You know- when I read things here, either messages or journals, I always look at who it is coming from.



Then most of the time I just move on as it so itsn't worth the time. Or energy.



Kettle/ pot and all that.

For those Dexter/ Crime show fans I just watched the A&E show called Those Who Kill.



Loved it. :)



Just enough creepy, someone killing the bad guys.



Will have to give this show another view, and it is on right after Bates Hotel so.. win win.
